For the last ten years I’ve had the privilege of directing classic productions, bold new plays, and innovative-spins on musical theatre throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My direction is grounded in community collaboration, meeting each individual where they are, and making sure we are all working towards the same goal; telling the truth.

In my rehearsal rooms, I eliminate words like “worse” or “better.” Each interpretation is correct; our job is to simply find the truth, and each rehearsal is another opportunity to chip away until we get to the core of the story we are all telling, together.

I use an intersectional analysis to dissect text, emphasizing how gender, race, sexuality, and more intersect to influence a character’s motivations and their journey. Moreover, I am thrilled to turn classics on their heads and break down preconceived notions of what a show “should” be.

I am equally comfortable directing big, Broadway classics like Funny Girl and intimate, fringe dramas like Stop Kiss by Diana Son. Regardless of size, history, or scope of show, I approach each production with care and passion, ensuring that every person feels safe, heard, and understood.
